Printing Test Patterns

The QLS-4100 X is equipped with a number of built-in test patterns used for check-

ing color alignment, print quality, and printhead integrity.

To perform a Test Print:

Press the NEXT or PREVIOUS key until the Test Print menu is displayed.

Press the + or - key until the desired test pattern is displayed.

The following test patterns are available:

• Test Pattern 1” to 5” - prints a crosshatch pattern to check print quality

• Block Pattern (All) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

• Proc. Block (CMYK) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

• Proc. Block (KCMY) - prints a process block pattern used for color alignment

• Horiz. Line Pattern - used to check printhead angularity

Press the SELECT key to confirm your choice.

The printer will immediately begin to print labels showing the selected test pat-

tern. Printing will continue until the printer is paused or the CANCEL key is pressed.
